BTS (Bangtan Boys)

BTS (Hangul: 방탄소년단; RR: Bangtan Sonyeondan), also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy band formed by Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. 

BTS originated as small boyband in Seoul.Their band name stands for “Bangtan Sonyeondan”, which in English translates to “Bulletproof Boyscouts”. Now, however, because of their fame in America, BTS can also stand for “Beyond The Scene”. The way K-pop bands work is very unconventional when people from the Western Hemisphere look at it. The boys didn’t know each other very well once they became BTS and their ages ranged from 16 to 21. Their label chose the seven boys they wanted to represent the band. Once they choose the members, they “train” them essentially. Once they finish training, they debut. BTS debuted with the song “No More Dream” from their first album 2 Cool 4 Skool on June 12, 2013.

BTS is making a history, getting into the Billboard charts, receiving plenty of awards including in BIllboard awards and Grammy award. The band is the first K-pop band to perform in American Music Awards in November of last year, 2018 and as well as the first Korean artists perform at New York's City Field Stadium during their "Love Yourself" world tour last year 2018.

In summer of 2017, BTS unveiled a new logotype. BTS logo means ARMY meeting BTS at the doors, or as the BTS official Twitter put it, " Us and ARMY becoming one together". The logo has comprises of two parts. "ARMY" ( half-open door outside) and "BTS" (half-open door inside). The mission of the logo was "to protect youth from prejudice" and encourage young people to pursue their dreams instead of getting used to the reality they find off-putting. 

• Their fandom name is 'ARMY' meaning "ADORABLE REPRESENTATIVE MC FOR YOUTH" . They once promised that BTS will protect, help, and support ARMYs, and ARMYs will protect, help and support them too. They both treat each other as best friends, and family, even the staff members as well treat each other as a family.

• Their music had plenty of meanings, hidden messages and theories of each music they produce. Each theory is connected to every music they composed, creating a story line. 

• They also compose their own songs they released. Some talks about life issues, even about themselves how they struggle in life through childhood and adulthood, etc. 

• Their reputation is for standing up against injustice and speaking of today's youth,with the details of the hardships that come with bullying and struggling mental illness. They do this for the generation today, knowing a lot of people specially their fans struggled a lot. 

• They even try to say it to us throughout the whole time. They encourage everyone of us in life, they even give life lessons to their fans. Because they knew that most of their fans struggles in mental illness even hardships in life. 

• They want to help their fans even the people who struggles in life, hardships and mental illness through songs and through communicating in social media.
